Jordan Hufnagel is a sculptor, experimenting with traditional metal working techniques, light, and texture.
At 26, immersed in the world of metals and learning to fabricate bicycle frames, he launched Hufnagel Cycles. Looking to explore deeper and inspired by the constructuers of the past, he made many components of the bikes, drawing on old world artistry. Expanding into new territories, he founded West America with dear friend and shop mate James Crowe, and later dove into the world of architectural metal.
Today, he is best when left to his own devices, staring at nothing, dreaming up everything and working in his shop.
His studio/work shop is nestled in the woods, on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, where he lives with his wife and kids.
Here you’ll find examples of his work and offerings.
